    Great for birthday celebrations

    Reviewed 20 August 2017

The fact is, organizing, running, and paying for a birthday party in Mexico City can be a daunting and costly experience. In Mexico City, families of your child's classmates treat annual birthdays not unlike a bat or bar mitzvah back in the States (over the top, costly, and with the added pressure to one-up the last one). While still relatively expensive, having your child's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's is generally a smart move since they do all the planning and keep the timing on track. There are various price packets as well (with or without a piñata, amount of pizza, number of tokens, etc.). My main experience (including the party above) has been with the Santa Fe location at Plaza Patio Santa Fe (but I can't imagine the experience would be much different). The Polanco location is relatively new -- and I will consider it for future birthday celebrations. This is a personal opinion of a KiddieMundo user.

    Tips

If you're hoping to get one of the private party rooms, book a month or two in advance. Also, time slots are set -- so keep that in mind when planning and creating invitations. Fortunately, time slots run 2.5 hours -- so that keeps your Mexican birthday party short and sweet (compared to the more common 5+ hours).

    Kids liked it

    Reviewed 22 February 2017

I never give a lot of stars to Chuck E Cheese's but my kids like it there. The venue is clean and the staff is friendly. It has a lot of arcade games you can find in other Chucky Cheese restaurants and some different. Many games are easy enough for the little kids to win a lot of tickets so they are really excited about it.  The prizes are rather of a poor quality and the selection is small but kids had still fun to get something for the tickets they won. This is a personal opinion of a KiddieMundo user.
