    Escape to the woodlands

    Reviewed 23 November 2017

Desiertos is a great place to escape the city and explore the many trails and old communes. There are hundreds of miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking, but bring your compass as it's easy to get lost. This is a great place to take your dogs off leash, as long as it's not a weekend (it gets crowded). I have heard of stray dogs being an issue, so it might be worth bringing some pepper spray or something to protect yourself and your dogs, but I have never seen them myself. I have been hiking here a few times and my kids loved it as well. This is a personal opinion of a KiddieMundo user.
