Dinant Evasion – Lesse Kayaks
Kayaking on the Lesse River offers a wonderful family outing full of fun and excitement, but in complete security. The tour takes place in an outstanding wilderness valley, through beautiful landscapes, medieval castles, natural parks, prehistoric caves, etc. The kayak tour is open for children from 12 years of age, or from 5 years when accompanied by an adult. There are two types of kayak tours down the river:
Short Trip (Length: 12 km; duration: ± 2h30)
The short tour is ideal for youngsters. It is open to all, including children from 5 years sharing a boat with an adult. The trip is filled with natural wooded landscapes, castles, impressive rocks and nice pebble banks. Kids will be thrilled to cross 2 rapids in guaranteed full safety.
Long Trip (Length: 21 Km; duration: ± 5 hours)
The long tour is ideal for older kids, athletic individuals seeking excitement, or those who want to take advantage of all the wonders offered by the river Lesse.
To better organize your adventure outing: book your kayak online, check activity schedules, pick up locations and useful tips that will make your day much easier!
Children from 12 years do not have to be accompanied. Life jackets are free of charge, and compulsory for children under 10 years.

Excellent for a day trip

Great way to spend a day closer to the nature. The whole tour is organized really well although when we went there during a summer weekend it was really crowded so people literally were bumping into each other, which was a little annoying and tiring. It's probably a better experience to go there during a week day. But still, we had fun and enjoyed the view, a few small rapids (kids especially loved those), and we found a nice spot on a way where we could enjoy a snack. This is a personal opinion of a KiddieMundo user.
