Museum of Warsaw

The Museum of Warsaw (Polish: Muzeum Warszawy) has the largest collections of artefacts related to the history of Poland’s capital. The museum is located at the Old Town Market Square. The permanent collection includes three sections: 1) The Things of Warsaw with artworks and objects of daily use from various historic times, 2) Warsaw Data and 3) The History of Tenement Houses. In the latter two, visitors can learn about Warsaw’s development across the ages, its past and present residents, its most interesting architectural features, and the changes undergone by a number of iconic Warsaw buildings.
The museum also features a viewing platform on the fifth floor with a magnificent view of the Old Town Market Square.

On Thursdays the museum has free admission.

Daily tours in English start at 2pm.

The entrance for wheelchairs is located at 8 Nowomiejska Street.
