Palace of Culture and Science Viewing Terrace

The Palace of Culture and Science Viewing Terrace (Polish: Palac Kultury i Nauki) is located in one of the most characteristic buildings in Warsaw. The building was commissioned in the 1950s by Joseph Stalin as a gift to the Polish nation from the Soviet people. The viewing terrace on the 30th floor (at a height of 114 meters) has a magnificent panoramic view of the capital. During the summer, on Fridays and Saturdays, the observation deck is open until 11:30 PM offering spectacular night view of Warsaw. The terrace can be reached within just 19 seconds by taking an elevator operated by a lift attendant. The 30th floor interiors include the Gothic Hall, an in-house gallery and a coffee place.

The Palace of Culture houses many institutions, museums, theatres and cinemas.

    Great on a clear day

    Reviewed 10 March 2018

It’s a really great attraction on a clear sunny day as you can see far away in all directions of Warsaw. My children enjoyed the view and a short ride on the elevator. This is a personal opinion of a KiddieMundo user.
