Overview
Royal Lazienki
The Royal Lazienki (Polish: Łazienki Królewskie) is a palace-garden complex right in the heart of Warsaw. It includes a park, gardens, monuments, pavilions, and numerous historical buildings such as Palace on the Isle, Old Orangery or Amphitheatre. It’s a perfect place to escape the city noise and enjoy the nature. In Royal gardens you might encounter peacocks, squirrels, European hedgehogs, and a roe deer, which lives there unconstrained.
In the summer (between May and September), you can enjoy at Łazienki gondola rides on the lake right next to the Palace on the Isle, and on Sundays (at 12 pm and 4 pm), you can take pleasure in free piano concerts at the foot of the Fryderyk Chopin monument. In the winter, from December till March, each day from dust till 10 pm you can admire Christmas and New Year’s Illuminations filled with the several-meter high sparkling figures dressed in costumes of their time.
Entrance to the park is free.
On Thursdays, admission to the galleries is free.
Opening hours of the galleries vary.

Beautiful place to visit
Reviewed 10 March 2018
We’ve visited Lazienki Park many times during different seasons - it’s always beautiful and worth visiting. In the summer we enjoyed our gondola ride on the lake, a free Chopin concert, and peacocks roaming freely next to the outdoor amphitheater. This is a personal opinion of a KiddieMundo user.
