Overview
Stanislaw Lem Garden of Experiences
Stanislaw Lem Garden of Experiences (Polish: Ogród Doświadczeń im. Stanisława Lama) is the Division of the Museum of Municipal Engineering in Krakow. This interactive Garden features approximately 60 stations, where kids and their parents can make simple experiments in acoustics, mechanics, hydrostatics and optics; and visit a sensory garden (“Aromatic Plants”), a Green Labyrinth with Stanislaw Lem quotations (“Lem-birynt”), and a geological exhibition (“Geo-garden”). Each visit provides a sensory experience for the guests, because they can touch the exhibited devices and experience physical and natural phenomena with various senses. Each station features description of the phenomenon both in Polish and English.
Each season, from mid-April to end of October, the Garden offers sightseeing, workshops, and demonstrations of the spectacular scientific experiments. If you wish to book a guide, you need to make arrangements by phone.
