Ujazdowski Park

Ujazdowski Park (Polish: Park Ujazdowski) is one of the most picturesque parks of Warsaw located within a walking distance to the Royal Lazienki and the Warsaw University Botanic Garden. Though it’s not very big, the park features some interesting things: a quaint bridge, which in its time was an innovative achievement of engineering; a water cascade; a city scale from 1912 which survived two world wars; three nature monuments (an oak with a trunk circumference of 485 cm, black walnut and a maple tree called “Eva”); and a nice playground with a large structure with slides, a large spider web for climbing, a sand pit, a house, and rocking swings. A new, very modern addition to the playground is currently under construction.
